Entry Level : Samsung Admire on MetroPCS

The latest phone to have entered the MetroPCS bandwagon is the newly released Samsung Admire. It is Samsung’s entry level smartphone.

The 3.5 inch display offers sharp and distinct images being a half video graphics array, thin film transfer display. Though the Admire is deemed to encounter the MetroPCS network, it does not exploit the carrier’s 4G LTE features.

Samsung isn’t new to mid-range or entry-level devices and the just-released Admire for MetroPCS fits nicely in that crowd. While Metro offers up a beefier Samsung handset with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, the Indulge, which supports its LTE network, it’s about $170 more than the Admire and ships with a lower version of the Android OS.
It’s definitely nice to see that even Samsung’s entry-level smartphones are beginning to shipping with Android 2.3 these days, and that gives the Admire an edge over MetroPCS’ existing portfolio right now. Head over to your local MetroPCS or check out the website to get your Samsung Admire now.
The Admire is an Android device and it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The smartphone has an 800MHz processor and a 3.5-inch touchscreen. The Admire will work with the MetroPCS unlimited plans.
