Tentang LSA Type di Dynamic Route OSPF

Jaringan Komputer, Dynamic Routing OSPF.
ini catatan yg saya peroleh dari om Miftah Rahman

LSA = Link State Advertisement

LSA Type 1 = informasi router-id dari router OSPF (di  area yang sama )
LSA Type 2 = Informasi Network yang dibawa oleh router OSPF
LSA Type 3 = Biasanya ada di ABR,  berisi sumary Route (rute2) network
LSA Type 4 = berisi sumary external route (rute2 dari external) di luar OSPF (diperoleh dari redistribute route yg dimasukkan ke OSPF)
LSA Type 5 = berisi informasi route external(rute2 external)
catatan :
- biasanya dalam satu router ASBR ada LSA Type 4 & Type 5.
- LSA Type 5 memiliki database  routing dari external routing ke internal routing ospf, LSA Type 4 berfungsi memasukkan routing external tersebut ke internal routing ospf.
-  LSA Type 4 adalah supaya ABR bisa memberitahu ke router2 lain yang ada di area 0 bahwa di area 1 terdapat router yang jadi ASBR
LSA Type 7 = STUB, masih di cari lagi informasinya.

penjelasan informasi dari command : sh ip ospf database
age = lamanya router-id di Database
Seq# =  Sequence Number, nomor urut update database. 0x80000003 artinya ini uda update yang ke 3x-nya (max 0x8FFFFFFF, abis itu reset lagi)
Checksum = perbandingan nilai checksum dengan nilai source router (yg kirim LSA)
Net Link State(Area 0) = LSA Type 2, berisi link/rute2 yang dibawa masing-masing router

beberapa catatan jaringan komputer : OSPF tentang definisi/penyebutan yang sering ditemui di catatan Jaringan Komputer dengan Teknologi Router OSPF.

Area 0
Suatu area yg menghubungkan seluruh  area di OSPF. sehingga Area 0 digunakan jadi backbone penghubung utama.

ABR = Area Border Router
ABR berjalan di OSPF Router Topology di Area 0 dengan area lain.

ASBR = Autonomous System Border Router
ASBR bekerja antara IGP OSPF dng IGP Lain (EIGRP,  RIP, Static)

Stub artinya Ujung, merupakan router atau area yang paling ujung atau sisi paling akhir dan tidak memiliki cabang lain dan tidak  punya jalan lain untuk mencapai jaringan dengan segmen lain.
