Sprint Rolls out 4G LTE in More Cities – January 27
Sprint (NYSE:S) stepped up its 4G LTE rollout, announcing today the availability of LTE service in 40 more markets nationwide – for a total of 340 markets spanning the country.
 
4G LTE Launched Markets – January 27
Sprint introduced its all-new 4G LTE network in July 2012 and now offers service in this list of markets.
 
Kansas City Joins Growing List of Sprint Spark Markets – January 30
Sprint is bringing its hometown of Kansas City better coverage, improved call quality and faster data speeds, as well as Sprint SparkTM, a super-high-speed network capability supporting advanced services and futuristic applications.
 
Sprint and Pogoplug Offer Customers Unlimited Cloud Storage and Backup – January 27
Sprint announced that it is working with Pogoplug to add unlimited cloud storage to its suite of unlimited services. Sprint customers can now access 5GB of cloud storage for no additional charge through Pogoplug, with the option to upgrade to unlimited storage for only $4.99 per month.

Sprint announced the expansion of its fully managed and cloud-based unified communications (UC) solution, Sprint Complete Collaboration, to include Microsoft Lync. Mid-sized and large businesses can improve collaboration among employees, no matter where they are located or what device they are using, thus boosting productivity and decision-making.
 
Spring Takes Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology to Rooftops with Help from Department of Energy – January 28
Sprint will deploy hydrogen fuel cell technology as backup power to rooftop network sites with financial assistance from the Department of Energy (DOE). The solution should allow for lower network site maintenance and cleaner network energy sources and will increase network survivability during power outages.
